The tool for the investigation was a self-administered questionnaire survey on 653 nurses. Their mental health status was assessed by the K6. Of the 653 questionnaires delivered, 563 were returned (response rate 86.2%). 523 responses (80.1%) were used for further analysis. The mean score of K6 was 6.5 (SD=4.7). The cutoff point of K6 was 4/5. There were 212 nurses (39.3%) under 5 points and 325 nurses (60.3%) over 5 points. Their K6 score was higher than that among the general population.
