There were 7 incidents relating to infection: scabies, infectious gastroenteritis due to norovirus, a left needle cap on a patient's bed, tuberculosis, multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and suspected infection due to unsanitary conditions. Additionally there were 4 accidents: a nurse infected by a patient with MRSA, patients infected with scabies via a nurse, a nurse infected with norovirus by a patient's family, and patients at a nursing home were infected with norovirus by enteral nutrition.
