老人保健施設より家庭に退所した高齢者18名を対象に、入所時,家庭退所時の高齢者および家族状況とサービスの利用状況について実態調査を行い、次の内容が明らかになった。1.高齢者の退所時のADLレベルは維持・改善した者が多かった。2.自立度の高い独居老人を除いた高齢者全てが、家族あるいは同居家族外の親族の介護者を有した。3.サービスの利用状況は、利用サービスの種類に偏りがあり、訪問看護、介護等の人的サービスの利用が少なかった。4.同居家族が介護者である高齢者は、人的サービスの利用が全くなかった。以上の結果より、何らかの要介護状態にある高齢者の家庭生活において、訪問看護、介護等の人的サービスの利用は少なく、家族あるいは親族の介護者の介護力への依存が高いことが示唆された。 |

Eighteen elderly people who returned their homes from a geriatric health facility were surveyed, together with their families, regarding the condition of the elderly and their families at the time they entered the facility and when they returned home, and their use of social services. 1. At the time of discharge from the facility, most of the elderly had maintained or improved their activities of daily living levels. 2. Excluding those living alone with a high level of independence, all the elderly people in the present study were cared for by a family member or a relative not living with the family. 3. There was an imbalance in the type of services used, but few people took advantage of human services such as home nursing or care. 4. None of the elderly who were cared for by a family member living in the same house used human services. The above results suggest that few elderly people who require some kind of care in their home life use human services, and that they have a high level of dependence on the care ability of the family members or relatives who care for them. |
